Day 1 (23 Nov)
I’m in the second flight now J Yes, apparently, I did sleep on my first flight (13hrs+). Haha. Let’s start from the beginning. I can’t believe time just passes so quickly! Goodness, it’s like 2pm in Singapore now! Oh oh, and my dad said that the sun only rises at around 7:30am and sets at around 4:30pm? Yes, so the day’s really short, and it’ll be a good experience. We boarded the flight in terminal 1 and only did I realise that its pretty old and out-dated compared to terminal 2 and 3! Really, and the floor’s covered with a thick layer of carpet instead of tiles. But I find that terminal one feels really at home, because there’re many kuai lohs, haha. That’s the thing I like. But well, I definitely wouldn’t get a kuai loh boyfriend. Haha, because I obviously still like Chinese boys, duh! Haha. So, we met Philip at row 01 in terminal one, and the good thing was that we weren’t the last one. But I guess we’re one of the last few! J Oops. Had my favourite green and white rice kuey from Bengawan Solo because boarding the aeroplane. Yum, and I actually wanted more food, because toast box was just right beside, but I have to control my diet, otherwise, I’ll grow super fat soon! Haha, dad says I’m not as fit as last year. Fine, fine. Whatever. On board my first flight to Amsterdam, I watched friends, and gossip girl, and a few more. In which, I found gossip girl quite interesting, just like the angus, thongs and perfect snogging show. Really nice, and as you can guess, there was snogging and ditching and bitchings. Haha. Since it was a night flight, I was adviced to sleep, so I obeyed. OMG, I coughed a little while when we were about to land, so I started praying. I was afraid that history would repeat itself, but I’m glad I’ve stopped coughing. Let’s see how it goes in Vienna (Austria).
Day 2 (24 Nov)
The transferring from the Amsterdam flight to the Vienna flight was disastrous! Goodness! The queue was long enough to keep us all waiting, but there’s more. The guy in the booth was so slow, and he was practically talking the whole time. Also, the ‘advisor/supervisor’ of the transfer of flight said “6:55 flight can come over to the express queue!” Because we were already running a little late, my mum decided to try out on that queue. So she had her ticket chopped and signaled us to go over. In front of us were 5 of them, also from the same tour. Since we were already almost at the front, I was thinking “what’s the point of leaving this queue when we’re almost at the front? Furthermore, isn’t it better to stick closer to your tourmates so that none of us separates?” But dad was just trying his luck to see whether it would work at mummy’s side. In my mind, I was thinking “it will NEVER work.” But you see, my dad said we have to give into mum because she has thyroid so just bear with it. OMG, I was fuming mad inside alright. It was pretty clear that mum’s queue wasn’t even moving, and hence, our former queue would be better. WTH. So in the end, dad made the decision to go back to our former queue. In my mind, I was like “OMG, so embarrassing!” See, I’m most of the time right about this kind of approximation stuff. By the time we passed all the booths, we were only left with 5min to get to the boarding gate. Yeah, so dad suggested that we ran. How about that? I loved it! I was in charge of the hand carry luggage (hush puppy), and so I ran with it, brought it up and down the escalator. Haha, so fun! Goody! Haha. Heee Heee Heee! So fun! That’s all for the airport experience, no shopping or anything in the airport because there wasn’t sufficient time.
In this plane to Vienna, they served bread. Horrible bread with CHEESE. Yuck, I had a bite. It tasted disgusting, so I gasped “Yuck! Yew!” The air host just smiled and asaid kiddingly “Haha, it’s food!” Talk to you later in the evening!
Day 8 (30 Nov)
It’s 8:30am now. Haha, yes, I’m not supposed to be using the computer now. Since I’m charging my MP3 now, I might as well make use of the precious opportunity to play with the computer. Haha. Today’s good for a start, and I’m utterly happy. However, in the morning, my dad angered me with the statement “You have a bad attitude.” How would you feel if someone said that to you? You would feel like punching him right? Well, that’s why I went down for breakfast without telling them. (But at least my father saw me opening the door.) Haha. I hear the Jerry and family walking down the corridor now. (The 4 people family-I hope to get a photo with them). Though I don’t exactly fancy their mother (because she seemed so protective over her children. For eg. She has to hold her daughter’s hand while climbing up or down the stairs! Hello, she’s not worse than the aunties in this tour. If you really like holding someone up or down the stairs, then hold the aunties who have problems going up!), I think Jerry (her son) is quite cute character and looks wise. He has a baby face, but he’s the same age as me (DOB: 27 dec 1994). I knew that because we sang a birthday song for him. Anyway, back to breakfast this morning. When I went down, the lift took super long, and I got a little fiery. However, when I entered the lift, there were like 4 kuai lohs of my age(3 girls, 1 boy). Since they were holding on to their luggages, or lugging them, I thought I couldn’t fit in. However, the girl nearest to the door signaled me to go in. The n the boy started staring at me, until I looked at him right in the eye, only would he budge. Haha, I think it’s the first time seeing a Chinese for him! And when I went into the breakfast area, I noticed it was very crowded. Hence I decided to eat corn flakes again. (Since I didn’t like the cheese, ham and other western food served. Anyway, it was a long long queue, and corn flakes didn’t have any queue.) Whilst taking the corn flakes, I realized that Jerry is opposite me. Then after I’m done, he came over and took the cornflakes. At that point in time, I was trying to find the milk since I didn’t see any jar containing milk. Haha, well in the end, I found it. (It was a pity I didn’t get to ask “Where’s the milk?”) Yes, that would start a conversation, then I can ask him which school he is from. Nevermind. Since the whole area was so crowded, I sat with Mr and Mrs Derek. It was so kind of them to accompany me during my whole corn flakes session. Haha. Thank you! Oh yes, there are a total of 3 teachers in this tour man! So when I was done, they accompanied me down to the lobby too! In return, I took 2 photos for them. It was pretty weird, cause the flash made them look so bright, but the background was so dark. Haha. And something very funny happened when I went up to the 2nd level. I entered the lift first because the kuai loh said Ladies first. Following me are 3 huge kuai lohs. And whenever each of them step into the lift, then lift seemed to shake a little. And then I pressed 2, and another guy pressed 5. The lift went up to the supposedly 2, but when I walked towards me room, I saw 482. Haha. Damn funny. Furthermore, when I went out of the lift, I said bye bye, and they answered. Hahaha. Then I quickly pressed down, and slowly, 3 other youngsters kuai lohs walk towards me, and was waiting for the lift. Then I though “huh… Since there are 3 and 3 other luggages, then I wouldn’t be able to get into the lift!” Haha. But they’re superrrrrr nice ok! 2 of them entered the lift, then the 3rd one (which was pretty handsome) asked me to go in first. But when I entered, there was no space for him! So then, he put his luggage in the lift, and I pressed 2. When I went down to level 2 (my room is 282), I saw that handsome guy running down the stairs. Hahaha, I think they’re every cool! And yes, I saw my parents entering the lift I just went out. Haha. Damn funny! And in my eyes, they’re still very nice people! J
